1. Scope
This policy applies to your use of our website, the client area and our licence servers. Because Recurnix runs on your own infrastructure, it does not give us any control over what you do inside your installation. It does govern the small number of things that affect us or other customers.
2. You must not
- Use our services to break the law, or to help anyone else do so.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other customers' accounts, or any system you do not own.
- Probe, scan or load-test our infrastructure without written permission. Responsible security research is welcome under the disclosure policy.
- Circumvent, disable or falsify the licence check, or share licence keys outside your organisation.
- Redistribute, resell or publish the software or its source, as set out in the Licence Agreement.
- Send us malware, or upload it to our support system.
- Use our name or brand to imply endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
3. Using Recurnix to bill your own customers
What you sell is your business. We do not police it and we cannot see it. But we will not knowingly license Recurnix to an operation whose purpose is fraud, and we may terminate a licence where we have a reasonable and evidenced belief that this is the case.
4. Support conduct
Our support is provided by people. We will always be civil to you and we ask the same. We may decline to continue a conversation that is abusive, and in serious or repeated cases we may terminate the account.
5. Reporting a problem
If you believe someone is breaching this policy, tell us at abuse@recurnix.com with enough detail for us to investigate.
6. What we do about breaches
Depending on severity we may warn you, suspend access to the client area, or terminate the licence. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so we will contact you first and give you an opportunity to put it right. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.
Questions about this document? Write to legal@recurnix.com or use the contact form. If you already have a licence you can open a ticket from the client area.
